Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) registration is the digital equivalent of a physical or paper certificate. It serves as a proof of identity for a company for a certain purpose. It can be presented electronically to prove one’s identity, to access information on the internet, or to sign certain documents digitally. A licensed Certifying Authority(CA) issues the digital signature certificate under Section 24 of the Indian IT-Act 2000. It has a validity period of one or two years.
